This rustic backyard wedding was the perfect touch of rustic and classic. Sarah and Cody included rustic elements throughout and held their reception in a big white tent on the lawn. This wedding was held in Henniker, NH where both Sarah and Cody met while in high school. These two high school sweethearts held an unforgettable rustic backyard wedding!
This rustic backyard wedding was even more special because I became friends with Sarah before her and Cody got engaged. As a wedding photographer, having this relationship before a couple gets engaged doesn’t really happen. It was awesome to be the “go-to” person for decor ideas and questions, after all this was Sarah’s first time planning a wedding. Honestly, she knew exactly what she wanted for rustic elements and she made them come to life!
An added benefit of having a backyard wedding is that you can sneak away for a few photos with your pups!
