Kim and Matt’s mountain engagement photos are candid and fun! This amazing and adventurous couple reached out and specifically asked have their engagement photos taken in the White Mountains. I was of course thrilled with this request as I like to go frequent the White Mountains any chance I can. Kim and Matt also had another request, that their dog Bailey join for the session. This was a quick “yes” from me and she totally worked it for the camera!
Kim and Matt enjoy traveling the world, going on adventures with Bailey, visiting breweries, and eating ice cream on Wednesdays while watching Survivor. They also enjoy watching football but when it comes to who they support, they definitely disagree on who is the best team. Kim is a Denver Bronco’s fan and considers herself “anti-Patriots” while Matt is originally from Foxboro and therefore a big fan of the Patriots!
Bailey was totally the star of the show! She was more than ready for location number two!
Kim and Matt were eager to cross, “photographing a couple at a waterfall” off my budget list for me!
The Proposal: During Thanksgiving 2017, Kim and Matt we were visiting Kim’s family in Colorado. They decided to go biking around the Garden of the Gods park but after 10 or so minutes of biking they were out of breath. Due to the higher altitude they decided to ditch their bikes and walk through the park instead. While exploring, they found a spot with a beautiful view. Kim was looking out at the red rocks and mountains taking photos. She turned around and saw Matt down on one knee. It was in that moment, with the gorgeous view, Matt proposed!
Kim and Matt’s relationship definitely includes making each other laugh.
Kim and Matt showed their adventurous side when we decided on a short hike for sunset. It was 100% worth it!
This little spot overlooking Crawford Notch State Park was the perfect sunset place for their mountain engagement photos!
A special thanks goes out to Matt’s mom, Pam. She was Bailey’s handler so Bailey could be involved!
