Amelia and Evan’s Stone Mountain Arts Center wedding was a highlight of my wedding season. The day started at Evan’s parents’ beautiful farmhouse in Fryeburg, Maine. Calm and collected, Evan dressed in his suit with the help from his two groomsmen and Finn, Amelia and Evan’s adorable son. It was so sweet to watch Evan and Finn get ready together. Evan wanted to help Finn get ready but Finn was determined to help his dad instead. They compromised and helped each other.
Amelia and her bridesmaids were nestled on the second floor of the gorgeous Oxford Inn, in downtown Fryeburg, busy doing hair and makeup. Amelia had a contagious smile during her bridal prep and it lasted throughout the day. Everything about her bridal prep was stunning. From her veil and dress hanging to her jewelry pieces. Her pearl necklace was created for her wedding day when she was just a young girl. Her aunts added a pearl each year to the necklace so that someday on her wedding day she would have a full pearl necklace to wear. It was the perfect touch to her bridal look.
Amelia and Evan, along with Finn, decided to do a first look prior to their Stone Mountain Arts Center ceremony. Evan’s look on his face when he turned around and saw Amelia, who was absolutely stunning, was so sweet! Naturally he was a bit nervous and very excited to see Amelia leading up to this moment. The setting for their first look couldn’t have been more perfect. It was on the grounds of the Oxford Inn, which overlooks the White Mountains in Conway, NH, where this adorable family calls home.
This Stone Mountain Arts Center wedding was stunning! The barn was rustic, elegant, and timeless. Amelia was so attentive to all the small details and the decorations in the barn were gorgeous! Their theme of lovebirds was scattered throughout different aspects of their wedding, from wooden signs to their guestbook, and the lovebirds on their wedding invitations. The adorable succulent favors were the perfect touch to tie in the natural elements their wedding had.
Amelia and Evan’s ceremony was sweet and playful. Hannah, the officiant and the wedding coordinator at Stone Mountain Arts Center made their ceremony lighthearted and all about their unique love story and the life they have created together.
Amelia and Evan first met at a St. Patrick’s Day party. They didn’t exchange any words but they both noticed each other. A few months later, they both were working at the same restaurant. During this time they got to know each other and realized that there was a strong connection. It didn’t take too long after this for this two to start dating.
As the day was dwindling down, I snuck away with Amelia and Evan for sunset, which happened to be gorgeous. The field we found had a solo apple tree. It was in the perfect spot, like someone knew that it would be a perfect addition to this empty field. The field overlooked the magnificent White Mountains and the way the sunset behind it was perfect. Amelia and Evan were such naturals in front of the camera; they were both relaxed and it was obvious they were enjoying the private time away from their reception.
The night ended with a fun sparkler exit where every one of their guests held a sparkler and celebrated their love!
Amelia and Evan’s Stone Mountain Arts Center wedding was absolutely incredible. Not only was their day a joy to be part of but also learning more about this couple was such a pleasure. They are fun, down to earth, and a downright wonderful couple. It didn’t take long to realize that the little family they have created is full of love and support. Finn is a very lucky little boy to have these two as his parents! I left their wedding with a full heart and was reminded of just how much I love being a wedding photographer!
