Marshall Point Lighthouse Engagement
Elisha and Matt’s Marshall Point Lighthouse engagement session was amazing! You may not be able to tell from the images but the midcoast area was a bit chilly that day. Elisa and Matt toughed it out and didn’t mind the chilly fall air. Marshall Point Lighthouse holds a special place in their heart. When I first spoke with Elisha, she told me their engagement story, which included this gorgeous lighthouse. Not only did Matt propose to Elisha here but he did so on their 5th dating anniversary and included aspects of their first date into the engagement plans. Anyone who has watched Forrest Gump knows that Marshall Point Lighthouse is featured, this being Elisha’s favorite movie, it was a no brainer for Matt to include it! They both decided that coming back to the lighthouse was the perfect place to have their engagement session. Elisha and Matt also have known each other since the 4th grade…and I thought getting to photograph high school sweethearts was special, this was SUPER special! As for their wedding, they are holding it in their hometown in Aroostook County this fall and I am so excited to get to spend their special day with them!
Elisha has some gorgeous “Bling-Bling”!!
This Marshall Point Lighthouse engagement session was not only extremely fun but was so incredibly beautiful. The entire area around Marshall Point Lighthouse is so pretty!
Elisha’s smile is contagious!
We had to include the lighthouse as much as we could!
During this Marshall Point Lighthouse engagement session, it got chilly enough that we had to bring out a blanket!
We ended the night with a silhouette in front of the lighthouse. The sky had warmed up with pink and yellow tones and the sun had dipped below the horizon. This is definitely one of my most favorite shots from an engagement session ever!
