Glenburn Engagement Session
This Glenburn engagement session holds a special place in my heart because Lorraine is one of my close friends. This session was very spontaneous and we planned it while I was visiting the Glenburn area last fall. It was so spontaneous that picked out Lorraine’s outfit for their Glenburn engagement session right before we headed out for the session! Lorraine and Mitch live on Pushaw Lake and including it, especially in the peak of foliage season, was special for them. We had one night to do their Glenburn engagement session and we were so lucky, we got such a dreamy sunset! The session was not just them but also their adorable yellow lab fur baby, Tucker. He was a good sport and even got held by his dad during part of the session (he is a big baby!!).
Lorraine and Mitch are high school sweethearts and their love is playful and sweet. There relationship has not only lasted for many years but has also undergone hundreds of miles in distance. For the first few years of college, Lorraine was studying at Husson University and Mitch lived in Aroostook County, meaning the physical distance between them was large but they didn’t stop their relationship from growing. Last May they got engaged while Lorraine’s family was visiting from over seas and now they are busy planning their 2016 wedding! I am so incredibly happy that Lorraine has found her soulmate and her prince charming! I am so excited to be part of their wedding next year and I cannot wait to see these two start this incredible journey together.
This was my first visit to Pushaw Lake and holy, it was gorgeous!! Sometimes I get crazy ideas but Lorraine and Mitch didn’t hesitate when I asked them to walk out onto the rocks in the water.
Fall is my favorite time of year and I think the colors that were around the lake will definitely tell you why! Also, seriously, look at Tucker! He is the sweetest boy!
Lorraine has always had a classic, elegant, and timeless sense of style. There is not an engagement ring in the world that fits her style as much as the one that Mitch gave her.
Glenburn is very country for neighboring the city of Bangor. We spotted an area where the sunset was spectacular and the tall grass was perfect.
