Just last week I finally shared Megan and Dustin’s Aroostook County engagement session and this week I am finally sharing their wedding! I wasn’t kidding when I said these two snuck in their engagement session, they got married 2 weeks later! Their wedding day was so relaxed. When I arrived in Easton at Megan’s parents’ house, Megan was just getting her veil put in her hair. Megan was the most laid-back and calm bride I think I have ever had the pleasure of working with! She scheduled time to just relax – so smart!! All of her bridesmaids and two flower girls, along with Megan’s mom, gathered around the kitchen island, giggling and admiring how gorgeous Megan was. There is always something so special about brides getting ready in their parents’ home. I can’t really pin point why but regardless, I really love it. Once Megan got into her dress we were able to take some of the most gorgeous photos of her and her bridesmaids. Megan’s dad was such a sweetheart and definitely had many moments of tears every time he looked at Megan, even before she put her dress on! She elected to have a first look with him and the images are some of my favorites from the day. You could tell he was so incredibly happy and proud of her. After her first look, I got to spend a little time with the guys. Dustin had a pretty fun group of guys! I didn’t know what was going to happen next with them!
Their ceremony took place in the same flower garden that we did their engagement photos. In just 2 weeks it was amazing to see how many more flowers were in bloom – it was stunning!! Megan and Dustin decided to have a small group of people attend their ceremony. It created such an intimate ceremony and I think almost everyone was tearing up at some point during it! At the end of ceremony everyone threw confetti and it as truly time to celebrate and have fun!
Megan and Dustin’s wedding was full of so much emotion, from tears to smiles, it was truly amazing to capture these emotional images for them. I feel so incredibly lucky to have been part of their Aroostook County wedding.
Look at those freckles and eye lashes!! LOVE!!
Megan requested that her grandfather’s favorite song be played during her dance with her dad, little did we all know, everyone would eventually gather in a circle singing and crying together. I will be honest, I didn’t have a dry eye either, such a sweet family.
