My goal of blogging every week this year has already not been successful. My master’s program has been keeping me extremely busy this semester and blogging had to take a back seat, I guess it could be worse! I have been itching to share this Aroostook County engagement session and FINALLY it is done!! Megan and Dustin’s engagement session screams Aroostook County and Maine!
Megan and Dustin sneaked in their engagement session in Aroostook County just a couple weeks before their big day. I am so incredibly glad they did!! Not only where we able to shoot at a gorgeous flower garden, where their ceremony took place just weeks after, but we also got to explore Megan’s family’s land around her home. We had a gorgeous evening for their session! The fields in Aroostook County make the summer sunsets amazing and we definitely got a great one!! For all of you that have never visited Aroostook County, the summers are gorgeous. Between the farm fields, forests, and in Megan and Dustin’s case, the stream on Megan’s family’s land, are stunning and make the perfect places to take photos. Getting a chance to spend more time with them before their big day was so incredibly special! I was even able to look at some of the decorations for the wedding. Megan and Dustin were both up for anything, they didn’t hesitate with my crazy ideas – like sitting in a small patch of wild flowers and weeds up to Megan’s shoulders! We rode around on the gator until we found exactly what screamed beautiful. I am not going to lie, going through the stream and mud may have been my favorite part 😉 We rushed out of the woods just in time for sunset and conveniently a tractor was parked in the field behind Megan’s family’s home and we took full advantage of including it into the photos!
This is one of the reasons I love my job – you can tell these two are SO in love!
