Ashley and Keenan’s Fort Williams engagement session could not have started any better than it did. First of all, it was the perfect night for photos. Ashley and Keenan brought along their recently adopted rescue dog, Sammy. Sammy was included for the first half of the engagement session. If it isn’t obvious, dogs are one of my favorite additions to engagement sessions. I also love shooting in Cape Elizabeth. There are so many options to pick from at the park and who doesn’t love adding in all the beautiful colors!
Ashley and Keenan have a unique love story. They have known each other since they were young. Growing up they lived hours away from each other but their families still remained friends. Ultimately, it wasn’t until college that they finally started their relationship. As a result of attending different colleges, they had a long distance relationship. The distance didn’t create a barrier or problem in their relationship. Over the years, they made their relationship a top priority and it paid off! Look for yourself, happiness and love radiates from these two!
It was a pleasant surprise to hear from Ashley and Keenan about their wedding plans and desire to have me be their wedding photographer. I first met Keenan in middle school and had many classes with him through middle and high school. Ashley has definitely found a genuine and funny guy. In return, Keenan has found an incredible woman to spend forever with. Ashley is smart, beautiful, and one of the sweetest people that I have ever met. They are truly amazing for each other! It is apparent they have a special kind of love. The way they look at each other will make your heart happy!
Sammy was the perfect dog during the engagement photos. Furthermore, this was also their first official family photo!
Perhaps, there was something in the cards for Ashley and Keenan’s engagement photos because the sky was incredible! The sky was constantly changing and between these interesting clouds and the sunset, I fell even more in love with Fort Williams and this engagement session.
Their engagement session was so incredible. Due to the gorgeous sky and the scenery, in addition to their visible love, I completely fell in love with their photos!
Ashley and Keenan are such naturals in front of the camera! They also didn’t hold back from being silly at all!
Another reason why this couple is so amazing! So many genuine and happy moments during their photos!
Ashley and Keenan didn’t hesitate to hike down the huge rocks to make my vision happen. I think it was totally worth it! They also were pretty awesome about how drastically different the temperature was on this side of Fort Williams. I swear the temperature dropped 20 degrees and the wind off the water was so cold! While it was cold and windy, it was a gorgeous spot for engagement photos.
This photo was one of my absolute favorite photos from any session. Between the sky, the moon, and the love that you can feel between Ashley and Keenan because of all this, I couldn’t love this photo more.
Since we took full advantage of the gorgeous parts of the Fort Williams park, we of course had to include the famous Portland Head Light in their Fort Williams engagement photos too!
To summarize Ashley and Keenan’s love for each other is incredible difficult! They have so many amazing qualities that they bring to their relationship. They are loving, caring, fun, adventurous, and fun! Their love is so raw and true. In short, these two were so inspiring and I love shooting their engagement photos in Cape Elizabeth.
In conclusion, I am so incredibly excited for Ashley and Keenan’s wedding day! If their Fort Williams engagement session was any indication of how the wedding will be, I am thrilled and cannot wait to capture their celebration!
