Ashley and Jon meet at the University of Maine and are both friends of mine. They have modeled for me in the past and I had an idea to organize a winter themed couple’s session. I contacted Ashley and she was so excited. Ashley and Jon then went on vacation where Jon PROPOSED!! So, our winter couple’s session quickly turned into a wirer engagement session! Ashley’s parents are building a gorgeous home in the Greater Bangor area and in the middle of the woods and the land turned out to be the perfect place to hold the session. We organized all of our things and planned this beautiful winter engagement session. We were lucky and got snow the morning of the shoot so the trees were still somewhat covered when we did the session. The day of the session included stopping at Dunkin Donuts to insure we had the coffee for the shoot and then driving to Ashley’s parents’ land. We walked through the deep snow till we found the perfect place. It was a small clearing in the woods and the light was perfect. Ashley and Jon were up for anything!! They are brave! They never once questioned what I was doing and even when my ideas didn’t really work we just laughed it off and continued to go on with the session. We ended the session with a snowball fight and sled ride. We even had some random fog happen near the end of the session, which I have to is pretty cool to shoot in.
I am so excited for you, Ashley and Jon!! I cannot wait for you two to set a wedding date!!
