I remember being a freshman in high school and knew Amanda and Chris as “the cute senior couple” in the senior class. Years later, Amanda was a bridesmaid in a wedding I shot. Her and Chris were still together after all these years! Amanda and Chris contacted me after
they got engaged to do their wedding photography. Their wedding will be held in Northern Maine but they decided to have their engagement session in the greater Bangor area. Amanda and Chris both attended college at Husson University, so the Bangor area definitely has meaning in their relationship. Chris’ grandmother lives along the Penobscot River
and we used her property and area along the river during the session. It was perfect! We did a morning session and the sun was deceiving, it was a bit chilly! Chris’ grandmother was quick to give Amanda a huge fur coat to stay warm. Definitely lightened the mood and got us all laughing. Amanda made sure to pose at the end of the session with it. After shooting on Chris’ grandmother’s property, we decided to take a drive to find a field. It didn’t take long, the greater Bangor area has many to chose from! The session was extremely fun and they braved the chilly fall air and very bright sun! I am so excited for their wedding this coming June!! Hopefully, we won’t be needing that fur coat!
I obviously had to share the fur coat! I hope this doesn’t embarrass you, Amanda! 🙂
